Year-Beginning Career Development Planning:

Developing Your OD Competencies

Presented by Sheryl Unger

Looking to develop your OD related skills in 2018?

The Organizational Development Network created the Global OD Practice Framework™ (Global ODPF) , which represents the knowledge, skills and behaviors required of an OD practitioner.

This Thursday, January 11th join us for our year beginning kick-off meeting

As many of you are thinking about personal development goals for the year, this session will focus on developing your OD-related skills.  Together we will discuss what good looks like in action.

Participants will have an opportunity to generate potential developmental actions to shore up skills, knowledge, and behaviors to be successful in your current role and for future career aspirations.  Everyone will leave with a personal development goal.  In addition, there will be an opportunity for peers to self-identify their strengths and serve as a resource to others.

Our facilitator, Sheryl Unger has conducted similar competency based development planning sessions for many clients.  This approach is used to support the roll-out of competency models and encourage proactive development planning.

Session Objectives

  1. Review the Global OD Practice Framework
  2. Review what good looks like for Share specific resources available through the OD Network
  3. Barriers and solutions for aligning this work with business outcomes
