The Hogan Assessment in OD
with Jorge E. Fernández, President at Cima Consulting
"OD - What Does Personality Have to Do With It?"
Understanding how personality and performance are linked is pivotal. We all bring who we are to what we do for better and for worse. This means personality directly affects individual, team and organizational effectiveness. Therefore, valid personality assessments have a critical job to do concerning both employee selection and development.
The Hogan Assessment takes a 3 dimensional approach to assessing personality.
1) Find out what people want
2) Determine how people get what they want
3) And uncover what will hinder them
Come to our August meeting and let Jorge guide you through the details and nuance of Hogan! You will learn about:
- the difference between identity and reputation
- the dynamics of career derailment
- the difference between person-job fit and person organization fit
- how to identify a sound personality tool
